WICKED MAG YEARBOOK 2012 (PART ONE)

OUR IDEA: ¡A WICKED yearbook in two volumes! It will contain a book review, a compilation of interviews on a subject and other interviews about emerging and innovative art. It will also have a calendar of the most interesting events of  2012, and an avant-garde art directory of Buenos Aires: fresh and fun, and now thanks to crowdfunding,  is also independent and possible!

WICKED MAG 2012 YEARBOOK 1 / 2, is the new format adopted by  MAG WICKED magazine.
There is an edge to this new format that hasn't been seen yet anywhere else.  Capturing everything that happens in the arts and culture scene in the city.

The type of publication is ideal to visit the City of Buenos Aires from a multicultural perspective and innovative, highlighting its most creative expressions.
As from 2012 each edition will include a dossier on a particular topic, this year we starting with the Queer Arts in Buenos Aires.

         
                    WICKED MAG 2012 YEARBOOK 1 / 2, is based on the following points.
  1. WICKED MAG brand is already established as an editorial product of reference for researchers and the curious from all over the world, no articles translated: with content in Spanish and English small abstractions, its pages reflect how attractive and innovative new trends and antitendencias of the City. That is, shows who are today the main reference of music, film, visual art, literature, theater, events, nightlife, fashion and design in Buenos Aires
  2. Buenos Aires needs WICKED MAG. WICKED is limited to what happens in Buenos Aires. The history of Buenos Aires is the story of people of different idiosyncrasies, whose families come from very different countries with different languages, customs and religions. Our editorial product interprets that heritage is unique and special Buenos Aires, for this is that Buenos Aires is an undisputed cultural capital of the world that attracts visitors and is a source of admiration worldwide for its unique footprint, rich and distinctive.
  3. Our Values. Our love for the profession graph, our commitment and integrity in values ??requires us to reflect only a plausible and inspiring content and the result is not never innocuous information, repetitive, commercial or in part. This is what inspires us. Our proposal is ambitious, but our conviction and our luck to live in Buenos Aires are the reasons that compel us to carry out this project editoria

  • The Name Why the name (WICKEDMAG): It's an expression of approval of the youth in the Anglo-Saxon "Wicked" that here would be equivalent to "zarpada" ... It means o Go beyond the limit, pass it: Do something "zarpado".
  • The folio format A4-size, medium-format pages horselike-80-Binding 80gsm sheets. Work extra lightweight paper. FSC Certificate. Offset Printing, Paper, green, green ink.Circulation 5000 copies-
  • Restrictions ot point to consumerism as the goal. It has no political sign and believes in the values ??of the inhabitants. It points to the mainstream, pointing to the individual alternative culture that comes from each person highlighting the extraordinary cases.
